Tesla powers through a bit of bad news, but Autopilot improvements are coming, and Model 3 Supercharging logistics may have just been revealed.

I’m going to assume I am missing something extremely obvious here, since I respect your coverage of Tesla, but I do not understand why his letter to his employees this week is considered a negative thing? Has he not done similar things like this in the past? Like when he turned all of his employees into sales people for a couple of months while trying to get people to place/close their orders on the model S? The only difference being that we did not hear about it until months later. I personal see it as a natural thing. Or maybe even slightly positive because he will most likely show profit this quarter. It’s not like we all assumed he was not wanting, or thinking , this before his email.
